RV Makeover - Part Un

Hi, how are you?

All is going well here.  We are out of Red Bay, AL now.  Yesterday afternoon and evening, TJ Allison and Greg (his helper) began installing the additional cabinetry in our rig.  Here's a list of what we are having done.

1.  The first two sections of the overhead cabinet on the driver's side we had divided off and an adjustable shelf put in each.

2. We had them convert the "hamper cabinet" in the bedroom into two drawers

3. We had them install a new cabinet between the TV stand/Fireplace Cabinet and the Dinette

The doors that were ordered for the above cabinet didn't come in looking good, so TJ has ordered some other ones.  They will be installed passing back through Red Bay again.

4.  We had the "magazine racks in the bed stands converted into 2 drawers each.  Here's an example:

When we do go back through Red Bay TJ will install the doors on the cabinet; Install a new, deeper medicine cabinet in the rear bathroom; and add additional depth to the overhead cabinet next to the Bedroom TV.  His prices were very reasonable.

We drove to Tallahassee today.  Tomorrow we will drive over to the Ocala area to look at an RV lot that is for sale there.  We will be in that area for about a week.  Getting our vehicles registered there; registering to vote; getting driver's licenses; opening a bank account and Jim will be going to see a retinologist there.

BTW, YES, it IS Jim that writes these blog postings for the most part, as many of you have posited due you your vast intellect and ability to reason deductively.  It's no wonder you follow this blog.

  3. Hi...you mentioned "We had the "magazine racks in the bed stands converted into 2 drawers each."....Was this also done by TJ? We like this idea and also the one on the driver side.

Do you have contact info for TJ?

I also noticed on your coach they no longer have a door just for the DEF tank access. Now it is one large door. (bummer as it seems the door would come out to far to allow for filling the def from the next isle's dispenser.)

Also had seen the TV in the living room was on a stand and not mounted as they used to be. What size is the TV now?

    Thanks!
